Biblical Support For Motionless Earth
I will begin with Joshua and the sun STOPPING for about 24 hours. In my opinion that's possible ONLY if the earth doesn't move. I'll post post more on the sun soon from Psalm 19 etc., but for now, lets break this one down.
We can know from the Bible, God's words chosen to describe the earth, sun, moon, stars and cosmos that the earth never moves. At least 67 Bible verses tell us that the sun moves and runs a circuit.
The sun and moon stopped for about 24 hours in Joshua. In the Copernican imagined "universe" the earth at the very minimum would have to stop spinning and zooming through endless open "deep space".
The other "planets" and stars would all have to stop as well it seems. In fact maybe the entire 14.5 billion year old "universe" stooped that day. Yet God only mentions the sun and moon stopping, not the earth or anything else.

Joshua 10:11-14 KJV -
And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.
12 Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the Lord hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the Lord fought for Israel.
There are at least 67 scriptures of the sun moving and not one of the earth moving unless God does it in anger and wrath. The sun has a circuit to run as does the moon according to scripture.
According to scripture the earth is SET as a tabernacle FOR the sun. We are the center of and focus of all creation. He has compassed the waters with bounds. He sits above the circle of the earth - NOT the ball shape earth.
If the earth was flying, rocketing through endless space then the earth would have to "stop" also. The other "planets" would have to stop. Realistically, the entire universe might have to be stopped for a day.
Then we have the sun moving backwards in the Bible -
Isaiah 38:5-8 KJV -
Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
6 And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken;
8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.
2 Kings 20:6-11 KJV -
And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
7 And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
8 And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the Lord the third day?
9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.
11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the Lord: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
